Mortgage has separated from Real Estate and is now the Lone Star School of Mortgage Lending. Licensing Ed provides classroom continuing education classes throughout the State of Texas.
Instructors teach license renewal classes at the main campus and satellite classrooms in Houston.
Licensing Ed has additional classrooms in Dallas, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, Plano & South Texas.
Classes are also provided on site at Texas Real Estate Brokerages and Realtor Associations.
Classes are usually for two consecutive days and receive 15 hours MCE credit with
The Texas Real Estate Commission.
The 6 hours of Legal & Ethics Update are included in the 15 hours.
Be sure you have the required 270 hours of core credits before registering for the MCE course.

For previous students of Seitex College of Real Estate who have taken Mortgage training classes: Be assured that Seitex is still a registered provider with the Texas Dept. of Savings & Mortgage Lending and will continue to be listed as such in the Education Provider section at their website. All education certificates for mortgage training will now be issued by Lone Star SML effective June of 2009.
A certificate from any approved school is valid for 2 years (24 months) from the date of issue.
